Gratitude leads to Happiness & Success

by Devora Krasnianski, founder of Adai Ad Institute

When you always feel appreciative and thankful for opportunities that have come your way, as well as the many great people and circumstances in your life, you actually set in motion a chain of events that can lead to greater success in all aspects of your life.

Gratitude awakens abundance

No matter who you are dealing with – friends, colleagues, family, workers –  try to make yourself aware of things they do that you are thankful for.  And then take the time to sincerely express that gratitude freely and often. It may take practice in the beginning, but very soon thereafter you will see the difference it makes in your life.

When you show your gratitude to others, they feel good about themselves. And then in turn, you feel good. A cycle of ‘paying forward’.

Effective People are humble and grateful

When you thank others, it gives you the proper mindset for success. It forces you to be humble and to be open to the contributions of others, and to be actively seeking ways to express thanks.

Showing appreciation motivates others

Being appreciated inspires, motivates and encourages others to become great too.

Gratitude brings happiness

The best signal that you can project to others is that you are a happy, balanced and caring person.  By developing an attitude of gratitude, it’s hard to be unhappy.  If you’re able to achieve this level of happiness, your positivity can infect everyone around you.

No matter how difficult things may seem, there are always things you can be thankful for. Every breath you take and every beat of your heart is a gift to be thankful for each day. When you focus on being thankful for all the blessings in your life, you will begin to feel happiness and joy.  So, make it a point to focus on those wonderful things in your life, and your happiness will begin to soar.
